Painting With Light Extra

Wow, I thought I was done with this, but then I drove by this place. I do a lot of driving to a lot of places, now where did I see that? Hmmm! Anyway, Mr. Police Man, thanks for not taking me to jail.

Stupid me didn't give the police man a business card! Market, Market, Market!

Dance of the Ghost Lady

This image was taken at 9:22 pm. My exposure was four minutes and thirty seconds with a whole bunch of exposures. I lost count. This image is also made up of six different images. Do you see those streaks in the sky? Could I be so lucky as to capture a metior shower?

The dancer in this image was in the Steven King Movie The Langoliers. She was the little girl at the end that says something like "daddy daddy look at the new people". Lucky for me I don't have to pay her royalties like the movie people do.

Back to the streaks in the sky. Those are actually star trails. That is how far the earth moved while I took the exposure. If you are good in math, let me know how far the earth moved during this exposure.

The Stone House

This image is of the ruins of a stone house in the middle of a blueberry field. It was taken at 11:48 pm during the full moon which is what you see behind the clouds and tree. My exposure was two minutes and seventeen seconds and it consists of four exposures during this time. The streaking in the clouds is the movement of the clouds during the exposure.

Of course it did not look like this when I was there. It was just very dark with only the moon lighting the way. I tripped, fell, ran into stuff, did I mention falling. The image made it worth every scrap, cut and bruise.

Trees

These trees were photographed in a Cemetery. You can make out a couple of stones in the back. It was taken at 10:06 pm and my exposure was two minutes and twenty six seconds and it consists of five images and 21 exposures. The red glow in the sky are the city lights which added to the image.

Dow Air Force Base

This image was taken out at the old Dow Air Force Base at 11:20 pm. My exposure was two minutes and nineteen seconds and consists of eight exposures. This is the first time I've done this type of exposure in over fifteen years. They do get better!
